So, my father has always been - he has influenced me as very much -: historical and political background to this very interesting. Political talks for me were from small to almost a given. So I was also always interested in politics from an early age. And I can not say, "Well, I had to go there then came the policy that was something entirely new." That was never something new. We have been in school .. discussed. I can remember, now it has also different (parties) where the reds and the blacks and the "hacking" - that the swastika has been called - are those that have been added since new, so the Nazis. The talks were already so innocuous conversations in school. And just as religion has played from small to a very serious role for me, politics has always played a serious role for me, and I was of course still strongly influenced by my father who has never tried to tell me where or bring einzubleuen me something, but to me just answered all the questions I posed to him. And I am also quite come in the direction from which he came here .. from the large German milieu. He has also represented the most natural. He was in the First World War and then experienced a sudden the new Austria, and that was for him of course not the one in which he grew up. It was a picture taken by the enemy. Other hand, was one, and yes, first hand, was all in Austria. All parties wanted to now, so to speak, all the problem areas in the Balkans and so on could not be found, were back (the realm). Until 1866 it was indeed .. a part of Germany, a very loose, but it was there. And so was the (German National) so somewhere for me very naturally. Austria is then made by the Dollfuss regime, suddenly (as something separate) very visible .. The Catholic at that time was practically a state religion. And I have my good relationship to the Catholic never lost, so I never am a Catholic become enemy. Actually, the heat of the Catholic Church was something very topical. It was not that I have since turned to disgust them. Only, I have just .. as the state church met, so I was very easily and willingly separated from her.
